Poshmark Party

I'm on a writing streak. One post per month seems pretty legit right? ...

Nevertheless, I have exciting and helpful news to share about an app called Poshmark--a buying and selling app for women fashions (only available for iPhone users). I recently joined the Poshmark (PM) community, about three weeks ago, and have already made $200 just selling unworn clothes from my closet! Regardless, you do have to put in the effort to create stylish listings so that your clothes will sell. I also make sure I carve out time to respond to buyers, pack items, and ship them through USPS (with the prepaid labels PM emails you once an item sells).

So far I've only had incredible luck on this site. I was able to, not only sell items, but purchase items that I've been having a hard time finding in-store. A few of my finds include: A Christmas vest for holiday festivities, a brand new Ann Taylor necklace for my mom (an item I traded for with an item from my closet--essentially you only pay shipping in trades--however, PM is not responsible for these types of transactions.), and a pair of 7 For All Mankind jeans that fit like a glove.

I've already gained some very loyal customers who have shopped my closet twice within the span of a few weeks. I've also met some very sweet women by purchasing some of their adorable goods. The best part is that I feel Poshmark has very proactive customer service, as I received an answer to my question within 24 hours. There aren't a lot of things PM hasn't already got covered. So sell and buy with minimal hassle and have fun with the process!

Learn more about the Poshmark process here including PM "parties" and selling your items!

Here are a few outfits I put together for my listings, outfits I might not typically wear myself, that allowed me to have my own personal party by getting creative with the clothes in my closet.

This A/X red dress was a thrift store find that I loved but wouldn't
wear, same with the vintage doctor's handbag above.
I also listed this black pleated maxi skirt and the
Banana Republic striped shirt on the right.

Happy Poshmarking!
