I'm a sucker for Sephora just like every other gal, but some of my favorite beauty products are well worth the trip to the drugstore. Continue reading to find out why I love the four products above ...
1. Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm ($7) This tinted lip balm is a recent find, and I'm absolutely hooked. I'm the type of person who applies lip balm every hour, however I love the look of "just-pinched" lips. I bought the tinted balm in a rose shade and finds it adds just the right amount of color for my daily look.
2. Alba Deep Sea Facial Mask ($10) I'm a huge fan of the entire Alba skincare line. I have an oily and acne prone complexion, but hate products that attempt to solve the problem by drying out my skin. Alba's products, including this incredible (and inexpensive) mask are labeled "pH balanced" meaning that they essentially eliminate the bad oils and keep the good. After using this mask I never feel tightness, and hardly feel the need for moisturizer, though I apply some anyways. I've used this mask every night for the past week and find my face has been less oily throughout my day. However, the pH balanced promise means this mask is suitable for all skin types. It's definitely worth the try!
3. L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara ($8.50) I've used this mascara ever since I was in high school. I believe it is quite comparable to the Dior Show blackout mascara, but it worth a fraction of the price. Since mascara is an item you should cycle out monthly, using this mascara boosts the volume of my lashes and my wallet.
4. OPI Clear Top & Base Coat ($8) Lately I've been using another more expensive top coat that I featured in this post earlier in the week. However, my sister and I have also used this OPI top coat and have found that it significantly extends the life of our manicures. It's a great staple item to have on hand, even if you regularly go to the spa for manicures, you can always touch up throughout the week with this beauty bargain.
What are your drugstore beauty favorites? I'd love to hear about them!

Elissa
I think I'll have to try out number one. I love lip balm with a hint of color!
